ANTHONY EDWARDS
Timberwolves 'Disappointed' in Anthony Edwards

Anthony Edwards, a budding star for the Minnesota Timberwolves, recently made the wrong kind of headlines by posting an Instagram video of himself making anti-gay comments.
Edwards has since deleted the video and apologized for his actions by tweeting: "what I said was immature, hurtful, and disrespectful, and I’m incredibly sorry. It’s unacceptable for me or anyone to use that language in such a hurtful way, there’s no excuse for it, at all. I was raised better than that!”
The Timberwolves released a statement in response to the troubling video saying they “are disappointed in the language and actions Anthony Edwards displayed on social media.” They also added that “the Timberwolves are committed to being an inclusive and welcoming organization for all and apologize for the offense this has caused to so many."
UTAH JAZZ
Danny Ainge Explains His Drastic Offseason Moves

During a recent press conference, Utah Jazz GM Danny Ainge shed some insight into his decision to ship out Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert this offseason. Ainge said: "What I saw during the season was a group of players that really didn't believe in each other.” He added: “I think they liked each other even more than what was reported, but I'm not sure there was a belief.”
In an increasingly competitive West and reported tensions between stars Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert, a rebuild was seen by many as the best way forward for the small-market Jazz. It also just so happens that next year’s draft class looks very promising, including what appears to be a generational prospect in Victor Wembanyama.
The Jazz still have several valuable veterans on the roster including Mike Conley, Bojan Bogdanovic, and Jordan Clarkson, who could all potentially bring home more first-round picks to add to Ainge’s overflowing treasure chest of assets.
PHOENIX SUNS
Phoenix Suns Owner has Been Suspended & Slapped with a $10M Fine

Nearly a year after ESPN posted an explosive story detailing allegations of racism and misogyny against Phoenix Suns owner Robert Sarver, the NBA's investigation has concluded. Sarver was found to be in clear violation of workplace standards and will be suspended for one year and fined $10M.
The investigation uncovered some harrowing information, including Sarver using the N-word on at least five occasions, as well as "instances of inequitable conduct toward female employees," which included "sex-related comments" and inappropriate comments on employees' appearances.
The investigation was led by law firm Wachtell Lipton and featured interviews with more than 320 current and former employees as well as Sarver. It also looked at over 80,000 documents and other materials such as emails, text messages, and videos.
The NBA plans to donate the $10M fine, the maximum allowable by the league, to organizations "addressing race and gender-based issues in and outside the workplace."
